5. What are the connontations of the word "terminal" in "At the San Francisco
Airport"? How do these connontations contribute to the theme of the poem?
6. Discuss the metaphors in "A Red, Red Rose" and "A Martian Sends a Postcard
Home."
7. Discuss the imagery of "The winter evening settles down." How do the images
form "an intellectual and emotional complex"?
