3. Discuss the significance of the convenant that God establishes with Noah.
4. What does the story of the tower of Babel try to teach us about human
life according to your reading?
5. Discuss the character of Jacob according to Genesis 25 and 27.

Answer TWO of the following questions in at least one paragraph each. 68%
1. What is the impact of Achilles' fits of rage in the story of the Iliad?
Consider the consequences suffered by Achilles himself, by the Achaeans,
by the Trojans, and by the gods.
2. We see a variety of heroes and heroines in the Iliad besides Achilles.
Define the heroisms of three outstanding heroes/heroines. Do not include
Achilles.
3. What are women's "functions" in the Iliad? Enumerate as many as you can.
