1.Replace the three forces acting on the shaft by a single resultant force.
Specify where the force acts, measured from end B. (25%)

2.Determine the tension in the cable and the horizontal and vertical
components of reaction of the pin A. The pulley at D is frictionless and
cylinder weighs 80 N (≒8kg). (25%)

Determine the x,y,z components of reaction at these supports and the
magnitude of force acting on the gear at C necessary to hold the shaft in
