2.An early method of measuring the speed of light makes use of a rotating slo-

eel just in time to pass through the next slot in the wheel.One such slotted
wheel has a radius of 5.0cm and 500 slots around its edge. Measurements taken
when the mirror is L = 500m from the wheel indicate a speed of light of 3.0*10^5

4.Figure 6-5a shows a coin of mass m at rest on a book that has been tilted at
an angle θ with the horizontal.By experimenting,you find that when θ is increased
to 13度,the coin is on the verge of slinding down the book,which means that
even a slight increase beyond 13度 produces sliding. What is the coefficient
of static friction μs between the coin and the book?(Sample Problem 6-3)(25%)
