1.Briefly describe the acid-base concepts of Bronsted; Lewis; Frontier orbitals
and hard soft acid base.
2.I2 vapor is purple with an absorption band around 520 nm; however there is an
extra band at 225 and 300 nm when it is in hexane and in benzene
respectively. Explain.
3.Place the order of which one reacts more strongly with CO for Fe; Fe(Ⅱ);
Fe(Ⅲ) and explain why?

cell and with F-Kr-F angle of 180 degrees, how would you place the molecule
into the cell? which direction does the molecule aligned to?
10.State all possible nitrogen oxides, give respective molecular structure and
the oxidation state of nitrogen.
11.Give the most commonly observed P and S forms; give also their oxides and
describe all the structures in proper point group symmetries.
