Having indulged ourselves in the sunset lukewarm,
We set out upon divergent paths separately.
Dusk drops tranquility in the pensive embroidery
Of aspirations tinted with faint impressions fading away.
The night is besieging the firmament stealthily,
Embracing melancholy with affectionate indifference.
And the twilight oozes out unsuspected with subtlety
Sifted through the porous leaves of oblivion.
Among the broken images torn in pieces lingers
Some anxiety of expectation left pending.
In the serenity we brood to and fro
Upon the theme of ephemerality.
And we tarry with the blurry ambiguity
Faltering along dejectedly.
