HI, Yi-chung,
okay,.. here are the details. Please forward to my friends or just =

them. I have been suffering from hearing lost of my right ear for about t=
wo
months. At first, the doctors weren't sure of the cause. After doing the
MRI scan ( nuclear magnetic resonance imaging ) , they found a tumor
of size 3.5 diameter on my eighth nerve, which is between my ear and my br=
ain.
It is surpressing my other nerves. The tumor must be removed, I have no=
choice. Judging by the size of it, the tumor should be there for more tha=
n
ten years already.
I am lucky that I am in Chicago now, because the medical care here see=
ms
to be very advanced. And also my insureance covers almost everything. Th=
e
surgery is non-trivial and very expensive.
The surgery might take about ten hours, then I will live in the hospit=
al
for about a week, and rest for about a month. The outcome is not sure yet=
.
but my hearing of my right ear will definitely be gone.
