Hi Guys:
Is anyone near Yosemite that can pick up two Cal Cyclists? Our
Taiwanese contingent have come into a spot of trouble at the top of that
monster climb on CA 120. The earliest I can send a rescue is Sunday unless
it turns into an absolute emergency. Perhaps someone here could do better.
Perhaps they'll dig themselves out. We'll keep you posted.

Hi All:
This is a follow-up to the email I sent a few days ago about two
of our newest riders from Taiwan, Steve and Gordon, being stranded on the
roadside en route to Yosemite. There was considerable interest generated
in the outcome of their situation. I'm happy to say that Rob Yeh heard
back from them later in the weekend and they said they had made it safely back
to Modesto. I'm sure they appreciate the concern.
Presumably they stocked up on spare inner tubes before setting off
back to Berkeley. Perhaps Steve, who was spending the summer taking a
class in English as a second language, can use his new proficiency and write a
ride report. I'm sure they had quite an adventure out there! :)
