Seeing the previous article, I cannot choose but have to say thank you.
I do appreciate it. I know I probably look like a leader in your eyes, and I
would like to shoulder the reponsibility as a captain. However, I have to
decline your supportive friendliness, since there's still one thing that
dissuades me from taking the job and serving all of you.
I am a perfectionist, I have to say first. I would do my very best
to help our team grow. This sounds quite good at the fiirst place, yet
actually it is not. I would become strict, maaybe you'll say tough on
everybody. I would pick on some boring but basic stuff from dribbling, passing
the ball, to screening out for rebounds and things like that.
Compared to Anthony, I know I'm rather stingent and he's kinder though
he appears mean. (No offense, Anthony) :) No lateness. No carelessness. No
excuses. Absolute devotion and concentration are requisite. So can you make
it? I doubt it. And if you fail to live up to MY standard, it would be bad
for us all.
Therefore, I'm sorry to tell you: Though I have the time and I'm
willing to do it, I'm not kind and tolerant enough to be a leader. Please
pick somebody else. I would rather stay with everyone and have fun together,
as a simple player.
