No. I wouldn't say that.
You lost because you were not good enough. Don't think that I'm being
critical or something, and I'm not discouraging you either. I'm just trying to
give you some personal opinion. If you don't like this, just leave this alone.
Last year we had a game against Fu-jun University. They were the host
last year. We lost the game out of, to almost everybody's thought, their
"homecourt advantage." However, I do think we lost it because we were not
good enough. They were not very good actually, but they beat us. Why? The
referees helped them? I think, yes, that was one reason. But that would only
give them maybe five or ten more points at most. If we had been better
than that, we wouldn't have lost the game. And by the same token, you would say
they were lucky so they could win. But the fact is, YOU DID NOT GET 8 POINTS,
so they got the chance.
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, don't blame the result on chance or
luck or something. Just get more practice and be tough.
