學校簡介
英屬哥倫比亞大學創校於1908年，是加拿大排名第三的大學，在國際上享有非常卓越的名
聲，也是全球性的研究和學習中心，至今每年有32,000餘位學生。學校有2,200位全職教
師和5,900位非教職員工。在加拿大卑詩省境內，包括產業界和其他大學在內的所有研究
工作，約有百分之八十都是在UBC進行的，該校每年獲得近1億4仟萬元的研究經費。在其
400公頃的校園中，共有200棟建築，其中包括了圖書館、學生宿舍、教學大樓、一個18
洞的高爾夫球場及一個日本花園。該校以商學、森林、工程及生物科技最為出名。

i) To provide information about and access to cultural objects from around
the world, with emphasis on the achievements and concerns of the First
Peoples and British Columbia's cultural communities;
ii) To stimulate critical thinking and understanding about cross-cultural
issues;
iii) To pose questions about and develop innovative responses to
museological, anthropological, aesthetic, educational, and
political challenges.
