Working in Taiwan’s first social enterprise VC, interns will have the
opportunities to work with Project Managers with sublime diversified business
backgrounds, while exposing to various social enterprise cases under the
leadership of Mr. Steve Chang (Co-founder of Trend Micro), one of the most
successful entrepreneurs in Asia.
All interns will be under the guidance of and in close collaboration with
each Project Manager. Each intern will go through a rigorous hiring process:
including but not limited to past academic review, work review, as well as
working ethics standards.
Ideally, interns are expected to spend at least 15-20 hours per week with
flexibility to extend the internship up to 12 months.
All interns are non-paid. But after your internship, you’ll not only be able
to arm yourself with world class business acumen, but to realize the
differences you’ve brought into this society.
[Qualifications]
1. Strong analytical capabilities, excellent written and oral communication
skills, and a strong team player.
2. Strong passion in social enterprise and eager to solve societal problems
with innovative business practices.
3. Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
4. Self-starter with ability to adapt to different situations and changing
priorities.
5. Junior/Senior/MBA students with business/finance major are strongly
preferred.
We are looking for 4 interns for the following 4 projects:
「社會企業與公益創投分析」：This project entails the intern to conduct a case
study for social enterprise, as well as best practice analysis for social
enterprise venture capitalist.
* This is a full time project which will start on the 22nd of June till the
24th of July.
「若水社會企業投資計畫」：The intern is responsible for market/industry
research, as well as in-depth analysis in various investment themes.
「身心障礙者就業專案」：The intern is responsible for Flow’s disable related
business. He/she will assist in developing the full spectrum of our disabled
business model. In addition, the intern will perform full
industry/market/process/finance analysis.
「InnovGreen再生能源專案」： The intern will be responsible for conducting
all pelletization process related research. This will include identifying
current turn-key suppliers (the 4 processes of pelletization), performing
comprehensive competitive landscape, and developing in-depth analysis on
technology differentiators with benchmark recommendation. Finally, the intern
will also be assisting with mini-generator research and feasibility studies.
