Dear friends :
The members of the "Overseas and Foreign Students Department" are
greatly honored by your study. We are looking forward to your arrival. Taipei
has an average temperature of 22 degree Celsius in the summer, the weather
here is veryhot (about 32 degree Celsius) and humid . It rains a lot in summer
so it's a good ideal to bring some rain clothes and shoes . A T-shirt is usually warm
enough for the summer, but you will need a sweatshirt or sweater for the
winter . The cold northern winds are really biting (about 15 degree Celsius)!
So it is very important to bring some thick winter clothes . While studying
here, you may experience some difficulties with the Chinese language . But
don't worry, your reception personnel will help you . And very soon you will
pick up enough vocabulary for daily use.

If we miss you unfortunately or you want to go to the Taiwan
University by yourself . Here are some easy ways of getting there :
(1) Take the 國興號 (Kuo-Shing) bus . You will reach the terminus
(重慶北路.北平西路) about 60 minutes .
price $110 then you can go to the Taiwan University by taxi. price $120
(2) Just take taxi . price $1000
