Good chance to know the history of NTU!!!!(and MORE!!!!)
Everything about this school: the origin, the history, the
architecture, the plants, the people.......all kinds of stories,
secrets, gossips........
We will visit the NTU farm. Only five minutes walk from the
campus, but it's like a really countryside place with lots of lovely
cows, sheep,chicken...
Also, we are going to visit a traditional Taiwan residence: 義芳居,
which has a history of (????) years (very very old). The alley where
it locates has a very very still atmosphere.......
We will meet at pm 1:00 (Sat 10/18) in front of the main gate.
It is supposed to be a leisurely walk for about 2 hours.
But,but,... strongly advise to bring a bike!!!!!!!
This activity is held by 薪傳club. The club studies traditional
Chinese(?)Taiwanese(?)(basswu, do you have something to say here?)
culture, officially. But the traditional culture includes a variety
of food(in the night market),craft, customs, history, religion,
architecture, literature,music, opera........... (really, there is
lots more!)
