Ave verum corpus, natum de Maria Virgine,
Hail true body, born of Virgin Mary,
vere passum, immolatum in cruce pro homine,
truly suffering, sacrificed on the cross for mankind,
cujus latus perforatum fluxit aqua et sanguine:*
whose pierced side flowed with water and blood:
*亦作unda fluxit et/cum sanguine
flowed with water and blood / water flowed with blood / whence blood flowed
esto nobis praegustatum in mortis examine.
May it be for us a foretaste [of the Heavenly banquet] in the trial of death.
以下原曲從闕
O Jesu dulcis, o Jesu pie, o Jesu, fili Mariae,
miserere mei. Amen.
Oh dear Jesus, oh merciful Jesus, oh, Jesus, son of Mary,

翻箱倒櫃找到之前寫過的…
莫札特聖體頌
莫札特於1791年接受巴登聖歌隊長的委託 為聖體日彌撒所寫作的
這首經文歌的拉丁原文 據說是教皇殷諾肯都士四世之作
從十四世紀後登載在不少聖歌集中
莫札特用此短文譜出[聖體頌] 儘管曲子不長 但清澄的曲調 虔誠的禱告之情
卻感人肺腑
因而此曲可說是最深切地傳達出他宗教情感的天上音樂
完成此曲的半年後 這位音樂神童就回歸主的懷抱
