《Sunrise Sunset》
出自音樂劇《Fiddler on the Roof》，譯作《屋頂上的提琴手》，最初的故事由小說家
阿萊幸 (Sholom Aleichem，1859-1916) 的短篇故事集改編。故事描述一個俄國猶太家庭
在二十世紀初期因社會變遷、政治情勢變異所受的衝擊。身為猶太人的劇中主角泰維在三
個女兒的成長過程總是向她們強調婚姻、宗教等猶太傳統的重要；但女兒們長大後，不是
私定終身就是與異教徒結婚，都挑戰了傳統父權、婚姻及宗教的安排。面對時代變化與傳
統的衝擊，泰維選擇妥協了。在婚禮中，泰維和家人唱的這首《Sunrise Sunset》，歌聲
中充滿著對女兒的愛、不捨及祝福，仍舊表現出家人間的濃郁親情。
