We are a group of young scientists from Academia Sinica who enjoy exploring
the Earth. We are looking for a couple of college students (from freshman to
senior years) to help carry out some research projects during this summer (or
even during the subsequent semesters), including seismic waveform modeling,
typhoon realtime monitoring, crustal heat flows, tsunami, and fossil fuel
energy exploration. A person who has interests in geophysics, physics,
computer languages, geology, or math/statistics are welcome to apply,
although previous working experiences are not required. We are particularly
interested in hiring people who is detailed oriented, well-organized, and can
provide his/her objective views of situations.
