what if you have 8 slots?
in decimal system:
---0,1,2,.....99999999(10的八次方)
in turing machine:
---1,11,111,....,11111111
---0,1,2,3,.....7
in binary system:
---0,1,10,11,100,......,11111111,
---0,1,2,3,......255 (2的八次方)
