Dear Lan-hsuan,

              Thank you for your message. In the talk I won't be assuming
any knowledge of calculus. Also it will be in Chinese although there a
couple of English terms I'm not quite sure how to translate. However I don't
think this will cause a problem. I think you told me that there are
facilities to project a computer on to a screen. I'll probably be able to
borrow a notebook computer from the department. Also I will probably need an
overhead projector and I assume there will be a white or blackboard there.
