Hay hay

        Good news first or bad news?

Since it's my first time pasting anything on the net, i guess i should kick
off with a positive note.

The good news... i finally learnt how to paste a notice on BBS! YAAAAH!!
A rather pathetic piece of good news, right? But nevertheless, this means that
from now on i will be more up-to-date with current events, without 怡婷 having
to constantly repeat herself, just for my sake.

As for the bad news... i'm going back to South Africa.
Surprised, shocked, sad, disappointed, disgusted...
Whatever your choice of emotion may be, i'm sure you guys must all be curious
as to WHY?!

But, firstly i must clarify that it was no simple dicision, especially having
you lot as classmates. Truely, you guys have made my brief stay at NTU all the
more enjoyable. Your friendships and hospitalities will be forever treasured
in my heart. And even though i might not know all your names at the click of a
hand and may even get your name confused  with another's, your smiles i shall
not forget, nor get confused.

Now, in answer to the question 'Why?'. Honestly speaking, there are several
reasons, but perhaps what made the final decision possible is the fact that i
have the opportunity to start over again and reapply, provided i return to
South Africa for the time being.

Lastly, i apologise for not being able to tell you guys this in person, but
good-byes are always so depressing especially when it's face-to-face. They are
just too emotional for me, all the hugs and words of farewell perhaps even
sobs... all of which i can't deal, because i just might end up regretting my
decision and then i'll be back in square one.

So, i guess it's time to say goodbye then.
