Toastmasters International (TMI) is the leading movement devoted to
making effective oral communication a worldwide reality.

   TMI is a non- profit organization dedicated to the communication and
leadership training. In 1924, Dr. Ralph Smedly founded this organization
in California to help people learn the arts of speaking, listening and
thinking—vital skills that promote self-actualization and enhance leadership
potential.

   Since then, there are almost 10,000 clubs, more than 3000,000 members
benefit from TI around the world.

　The Mission of a Toastmasters club is to provide a mutually supportive
and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity
to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster
self-confidence and personal growth.
