我覺得 Harrison 和 Dennis 最值得學習。（Judy已經提過了XD）
TME Harrison 即興幽默的功夫是值得追求的。
Language Evaluator Dennis 是冷面笑匠。他是有備而來的哦。
當時有些東西我來不及抄。如果我硬是要抄就不是 live in the moment了。
其實大家能讀到他的稿子，我就不用在這瞎扯了XD

I. 看講者得到的啟發

都是當天分別從各講者身上得到的啟發。Don't ask me who they are! XD

1) 講話通順。講一句話pose太多聽起來很不舒服，聽起來胸口會悶悶的。
   其實我有同樣的毛病，大部分的原因是稿子沒背熟。其實我平常講話也會 >.<

2) 呼吸要順。一口氣要講完，吐完氣要吸個夠。可能就是要用丹田吧……
   不知道大家有沒有發現，有些人或許是因為緊張，總會覺得他/她呼吸很不relax。
   聽起來胸口悶悶的，好像游泳不會換氣一樣有點小不舒服。

3) 人言合一。
   如果動作、表情和語言沒有合一的話，聽起來會很奇怪。觀眾無法跟著High起來。

3) 簡化互動。
   如果有時間問兩個以上的問題的話，或許可以先問簡單的，再問難的，
   這樣難的答不出來也比較不會覺得不好。

4) 聽Speech是學習的絕佳機會
   從別人的 Good Performance & mistakes 中學習。
   別人會自己不會的，學起來。別人不會自己也不會的，學起來。
   在會中每次都會遇到一堆自己不會講的，也會聽到一堆別人會講自己還不會講的，
   如果每次都把這些記下來，不是超實用的嗎？
   所以我非常欣賞每週的Agenda後面的Review。那是學習的寶庫，自己做更有效。

最後我要說。批評人容易，做起來難。
我看到了，不一定代表我做到了。台上五分鐘，台下十年功，路還遠著～
但至少，有努力的目標，有努力的方向。

II. Prepared Speech

1) Keith- The color of the world

Speech Value: seeing things from different way.

Good:
  Wearing sun glasses is a verry effective opeing. (by Tatsuya)
  "You have profound knowledge. like a philosophor." (by Harryson)

Improve:
  the story of Marathon is not really related to the topic.(by J)
  Need to conquer the Stage Fright（怯場）.

2) Cassandra - Warrior

Speech Value: Live in the Moment（活在當下）※有講對嗎？
Inspired by the movie: "Way of the peaceful warrior"
                       『深夜加油站遇見蘇格拉底』
Socrates 蘇格拉底

Three Questions for you:
  Q1. Where are you?    →here
  Q2. What time is it?  →now
  Q3. Who are you?      →this moment

3) William Ryan - Why I becam a Chriopractic（應該是Chiropractic?）

畢竟是有歷練的大人，講話沉著、有自信，也很幽默。
I like the "quesition time" which anabled the audience to interact with him.

Story's Scrap:

 He was a teacher in a High school in Pheladelphia, U.S.
 High shools is dangerous!!
 Car slashed, one of the window smashed. (rhyme!!有壓韻耶^^)
 → What Should I do? Let's take a break.
 Quitted the school, and buy a 700cc Honda bike.
 Riding Honda bike, Travel around, to RELAX.
 Car accident happend. foot broke. foot recovered later,
 but back couldn't be straight. walking like an old man.
 see ordinary doctors, they all say "no problem"
 then his friend insisted that he go to see a Chiropractist.
 The Chiropractist fixed his back very fast. Surprised.
 → Realized what he should do in the res of his life.
 learn Chiropractic for 8 years,
 also being a cook for 4 years for making living.
 Now, have been do this for 25 years, and still doing it.

 ※他只做動作沒有講駝背這個詞，可能怕我們聽不懂。我去查了一下。
   駝背：<adj> humpbacked, hunchbacked.
         <n> a humpback, a hunchback    似乎兩者通用
   譯典通例句：駝背老人 an old man with a hump
               弓著背 She hunched down in her seat
   □ 還不是很清楚正確的用法。
      比如說「走路不要駝背」這個怎麼講呢？
      Don't hunch you back while you are walking. 這樣講嗎？

4) Justice Liao - Apple or Orange

Value: Try differen aproach (regarding the counselling) 是這樣嗎？
       →To tell boss they should use Phonecal aswell as Web for counselling.

Good: 坦克的圖片，很清楚地把Idea給Show出來。
      我覺得其實可以一開始就Show。才不會讓人聽得不知所云。
      Machine gun：掃多中少 → Web Counselling
      Canon：命中率高，殺很大 → Phonecall Counselling
      ※命中率：High Shooting Average（他沒講這詞兒）

Improve:
  "It's like a International Business Class" said Asoon.
  真的有在上課的感覺。A16這數字聽起來嚇人的。但Gabby在後面戳我，說她快睡著了。
  ※我想講「我對這個演講有似曾相似的感覺」，想用「Dejavu」這個詞，但不太會講。
  □ I have a dejavu of international business class. 可以這麼講不？

5) Judy Lee - Who I want to be

Value：Be yoursef

優點：Spring Convention 時已見識過，好話就不多說了。

缺點：她的 Speech Style 可能有些人會不喜歡。就是整體的那一種氣雰。
      就如強者我同學聽到她一直講「A-cup」就有點不喜歡 XD
      還有那句話："Are you look at me? sure!" 讓人聽起來有點不舒服。

      但用正面的詞描述自己身體的那一段非常好，很有娛樂性：
      "I have Asian single-eyelid eyes, cute nose, healthy color skin, sexy ass
      and（pause）good shape A cup."

      Anyway, Her skills are great.
      The strange mood doesn't make her less worthy to be our suty model.

III. Language Notes

以下記錄的是Legacy Joint Meeting 的語言筆記。
包括大家當時講不出來的、我聽到到新詞兒、當下想到卻不會講的、
覺得該學起來的用法、知道卻沒有很熟練的。反正認為該學的都寫下來了。

問題

常客：______  （在講 William 是常客時，主持人不知道怎麼講，我更不知道XD）
  a regular customer 像是固定會去某家餐廳吃飯的人
  a frequent guest   用來形容像 William 常來做客的
  a frequenter       不知道常不常用

庸醫：______  （在聽 William 講醫生都說他沒事時想知道的）
  a quack（quack 也是鴨叫聲）; a charlatan;
  a quack physician
  a doctor with inadequate medical knowledge or skill;
  a good-for-nothing doctor

biker or bike rider （Rebecca講biker 時Harryson沒有馬上聽懂。不知道為什麼）
  Biker：有點壞壞的感覺。比較像少年的感覺。有網站叫Bikers USA，說明這應是常用\
的。
  Biker Rider: 不管是重機還是小綿羊都算吧。就是平平的「寄機車的人」

？special favor: 優待？（聽到的，不知道什麼意思，是優待嗎？還是特殊口味？）
  優待：preferential treatment,
  款待：cordial reception, receive someone cordially.

Chiropractic: 整骨
  那天 William 寫 Chrio-,我覺得念起來有點別扭。
  查證後發現各大網站與字典都是寫 Chiro- 。

問題：醫學院的系英文都怎麼講？
有跟Asoon討論醫學系英文到底怎麼講。上台大醫學院網站查證：

醫學院：College of Medicine  ※院都叫 College
醫學系：School of Medicine ※不像財金系叫 Department of Finance
藥學系：School of Pharmacy
護理系：School of Nursing
牙醫系：School of Dentistry
職能治療系：School of Occupational Therapy
物理治療系：School of Physical Therapy
醫學檢驗暨生物技術學系（醫技系）：
  Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences and Medical Biotechnology
  ※只有這個系叫"Department"

常聽到 Medical School 一詞。像 Harvard 就是用 Medical School.

□ 不懂 College of Medicine 和 Medical School 有什麼不一樣？


本來只想寫個大綱的，一寫就停不下來，連續寫了兩個小時 ^^
好久沒有這麼晚睡了。我最近變乖了，都12點前睡的。
今天難得這麼廢。救救我的肝！
