Dear All:
How are you lately? Anything interesting? Wish you all a very happy and
fruitful summer vacation. :-)
Although NTU Toastmasters Club has no regular meetings during summer
vacation, there are still a lot of other Toastmasters Clubs which
have meetings all year long. I think it is a very good chance and
I believe it will be a great experience to visit other clubs
as most of other TM clubs are 'older' than us. We can learn from
them and together make our club a better one. If any of you are
interested in visiting other TM clubs, please kindly let me know.
I will talk with their Officers and hopefully they
will agree to gather lesser guest fee from our members.
I have collected some information about when and where some of other
TM Clubs meet. I plan to visit YWCA TM Club next Monday on July 26th.
They meet at 青島西路7號9樓, 7:00~9:00 p.m. Those who want to come,
please contact me before this Friday. We can go there together and
I will call their officers and tell them we will visit them.
On July 30th, Friday,I plan to visit Sunshine TM Club.
They meet at 師大綜504, and the meeting starts at 7 o'clock
On the 5th of August, China TM Club will have a Tall Tale Contest (吹牛比賽).
Because on Oct. 8th, there will be an Area Tall Tale Contest and every club
needs 2 contestants. I strongly encourage you to join China's Tall Tale Contest
and see what it is like. Our club may not have time to hold our own
Tall Tale Contest as our school starts on Sep. 22nd and
I plan to have our DEMO Meeting on Oct 1st because Sep 24th will be
the Mid-Autumn Festival. So I hope some of you can volunteer to join
if you are interested in it. Thanks very much.
