Contents of talk
"A geographer needs to do work in the field, while a chemist works in his laboratory.
The field is a wonderful place to meet new people, discover the unknown and encounter
adventures of various sorts. Prof. Nora Chiang, a geographer, would like to tell you
her two recent research projects -- one in Meinung and one in Bali. She will provide
you with a pictorial essay on the ecotourism and Hakka identity; being a researcher and
a tourist in Bali in the summer of 2003. She will make her presentations by powerpoint
and slides."
"The two courses which has been offered by Nora has attracted a lot of students in the
last six years -- Multicultural Australia and the New Millenium and Readings in Environmental
Resources. Nora is a geographer who LOVES to teach English"
