Toastmasters 1999 Speech Contest
Our dear fellow members of Toastmasters:
We are going to hold 1999 Toastmasters Speech Contest on which all of our
members have been expecting for a long time. Do you want to sharpen you English
speaking ability? Do you want to show us that you are an outstanding public
speaker? Do you want to become famous for your humor, creativity, or delivery
of your speech? Do you want to see how well can your fellow members do in their
speech and to prove how successful can your speech be? We believe that you are
all eager to seize this chance and to challenge yourselves. Don't hesitate.
Don't say you are busy. Don't say you may catch a cold next month. Don't find
any excuses. Just fill out this application form and start to prepare. Trust
yourself, you can make it.
Time: 1999/4/30 6:30-9:00pm
Speech Topic: No limitation. Speakers can choose by themselves.
Speech Time: 4-6 Minutes
Final Day of Application: 4/9
Final Day of Handing in Speech Topic: 4/16
Grading Standard:
Content 50% (including originality, creativity, organization, and etc.)
Delivery 30% (including vocal variety, gestures, visual aids, and etc.)
Language 20% (including grammar, word choice, pronunciation, and etc.)
Prize: Considerable Prize
Way of Registration: Fill our the registration form and hand it in to our E.V.P Angela
