劉紹棟老師


    民國42年出生於台北市。十五歲時參加建中管樂隊，開始學習豎笛，曾師事沈信一先
生、薛耀武先生，從此和管樂結下不解之緣。

    自民國73年起，劉紹棟老師擔任台大管樂團指揮至今。棟棟老師除了是台大管樂團的
專任指揮之外，也是樂團的爸爸、團員們親愛的長輩。老師陪台大管樂團一同走過了長達
二十多年的歲月，他常說：「要愛音樂，我們在這裡，一切都是為了音樂！」能夠投入二
十餘年的心力來指導一個業餘大學生樂團，需要多麼大的對音樂的熱情！秉持著對音樂的
熱愛，老師以愛的教育、有教無類的理念引導學生進入管樂世界，並且積極鼓勵、提攜後
進。許多老師曾經指導過的學生，現今也在台灣管樂界嶄露頭角、甚至佔有一席之地。


Mr. Liu Shao-Tung

     Born in Taipei, 1953, Mr. Liu Shao-Tung became interested in wind music since
he started learning clarinet in Cheng-Kuo Senior High School wind band at the
age of fifteen, instructed by Mr, Shen Hsin-Yi and Mr. Hsueh Yao-Wu. He
became the conductor of NTU Wind Band in 1983.

     Mr. Liu is not only the conductor of NTU Wind Band, but also a respectable
and dear mentor for each member of the band. He has always been telling us to
love music and that we are all gathered by music. Out of his passion towards
music, Mr. Liu has been the conductor of NTU Wind Band for over 20 years and
has always instructed us with love and patience. Many students whom he have
instructed are now professional and influential players in the wind music
sector of Taiwan.
