台大管樂團成立於民國四十三年。從早期的鼓號樂隊到現在的大型管樂團編制，至今
管樂團已成為台大最有組織、活動力最強的社團之一。除了在每年的音樂比賽表現傑出之
外，我們更致力於參與各項演出。台大校慶音樂會、杜鵑花節以及藝術季，加上每學期固
定舉行的室內樂之夜以及期末公演等，皆獲聽眾一致肯定。

    1997年，受邀前往香港參與亞太管樂節。2001年，受中歐洲管樂節之邀，前往奧地利
進行音樂與文化上的交流，在當地頗受好評。2002年，與數所友校共同舉辦全國大專院校
管樂觀摩會，吸引無數管樂同好互相切磋交流。2004年更擴大舉辦紀念台大管樂團成立50
週年之全省巡迴音樂會，並邀請已畢業校友成立校友團一同於國家音樂廳演出。


     Founded on November 25, 1954 by a group of music-loving students, NTU Wind
Band is one of the most organized and active clubs in National Taiwan
University. We actively participate in all kinds of performances including
school anniversary concerts and Chia-yi International Wind Festival. In
addition, we also hold a "Night of Chamber Music" in the middle of each
semester and a concert at the end.

     In recent years, we have participated in various wind music activities such
as the Asia-Pacific Wind Festival in 1997, Hong Kong and were invited to
perform in the Mid-Europe Wind Festival in 2001. In 2002, we co-organized a
concert in which wind bands from many universities participated. We have just
celebrated our 50th anniversary in 2004, inviting alumni to a reunion,
touring around Taiwan and performed in the National Concert Hall.
