I wish the students in this band can provide the new members a new
horizon in music. The culture and focus in college bands are different
from those in high school bands (I hope).
What makes college students more mature
in music compare to high school students? What can we give the new students?
It seems to be reasonable that new students have the right to ask
old guys "what can I get (learn) if I join you?", we don't ask "how you
new members can make this band better now?", right?
When I came to NTU, I was excited and would like to learn. I did not
think the Physics department needed me or NTUWindBand needed me.
I think we should try to offer these new guys some good stuff.
