What we should do depends on what is appropriate in the context
of music. In general in a chord the bass part should be more for richer
harmonics. Even when the harmony is in its inversion. Otherwise
the composer does not have to write an inversion.
Music is art. There are exceptions everywhere. Principles
are important. At times the exceptions are the force and the
focus of a musical work.
I find keep track of all messages very difficult. I may not
do so in the future. I will have a little more time chat
with you guys on music during my vacation. I will go back Taiwan
for about 25 days in late July.
