As for sight reading, I would suggest you practice this every day by
spending 15-20 minutes playing new music. Use the metronome and keep a
steady tempo even if you make mistakes. Also, consider what you are doing
with your eyes. Like reading a book, your eyes should always be looking
ahead several notes or beats--this allows you to prepare for upcoming
material. Experiment with this and see how many notes you are able to see
ahead while playing. Then push your self to read even more. This can be
difficult and mentally exhausting but really will help.
