I don't think so. Intonation is very subtle. It is always subtle.
All performers suffer from intonation problems most of the time.

Yeah, most of the time...... That's why it is so hard to play "in tune".
It is not easy to make sure what does "in tune" mean.... even for
professional players.
However, we still play our instruments all the time, no matter how
bad the intonation is. That's the way life goes. But, do we plan to
make some progress at all?
