Go ahead and get them if you like 20th century music
and French music.
His recording on 20th century unaccompanied clarinet works
is great. Great technique, great control. Of course the music
is worth listening.
Since Paul Meyer is one of the most important French clarinet
performers now, it is natural to listen to his French works.
I really find them too fast in the fast mov. get the music score
and look at the metronome mark (giving by the compsers, not the
editors), I think he is always on the fast side.
(actually I think he does that no matter what kind of fast
mov. he is playing) It may be exciting listen to them.
By the way, why are you so interested in clarinet music now?
Aren't you playing sax?
