I apologize for not being around for a while and did not read this post.
Larry Combs is a well known jazz player and plays sax as well as
clarinet. The other guy who may suprise you is David Schiffrin (spelling?).
If I remember it correct.
Larry Combs has performed and toured with many famous jazz players
for many years. Actually even Tom Martin (Boston), Johnathen Cohler
(spelling?), they play jazz.
I don't know about the CD you mentioned. Should be fun listening to it.
BTW, after a couple of months' effort, I guess I am playing clarinet
again. The process was, of course, very painful.
