The Wiener Posaunenquartett was founded in 1992. Four trombonists,
everyone of them are members of renowned Austrian orchestras, have
dedicated themselves showing the general public that the trombone is
indeed a chamber music instrument to be reckoned with.

Dietmar K凼lb哘k
Studied trombone with his father Horst K凼lb哘k, first trombonist for the
Vienna Symphony Orchestra since 1982, recitals in Europe, New York and
Taiwan, teaches at the Musikhochschule (音樂高等學校) in Vienna.
Otmar Gaiswinkler
Studied at the Bruckner-Konservatorium (布魯克那音樂學院) in Linz and at
the Musikhochschule in Vienna, 1992/95 trombonist for the Bruckner Orchestra
Linz, first trombonist for the Vienna Symphony Orchestra since 1995.
Erik Hainzl
Studied at the Musikhochschule in Vienna, first trombonist for the
Nieder岾terreichische ( nieder 低, 塜terreich 奧地利, -isch(e) 形容詞字尾 )
Tonk劜stler (Ton 聲音, K劜stler 藝術家, Tonk劜stler 音樂家) Orchester since
1984, teaches brass workshops in Austria and abroad.
Hans Str哘ker
Studied at the Musikhochschule Graz, 1983/84 bass trombonist for the Bruckner
Orchestra Linz, bass trombonist for the Vienna Philharmonic since 1984,
teaches at the Musikhochschule in Vienna since 1994.
