I would consider Weber's music as very singful, very expressive,
very operatic.
Weber is an opera composer.
He uses the sounds of the clarinet to simulate,
to imitate human voice.
His clarinet music sounds as if you could sing it with the orchestra
(or piano, or string quartet).
I didn't know that while I was in NTU.
Baermann, to whom most of Weber's clarinet works were written for, was
famous for his espressivo playing.
Singers were asked to have lessons with him to learn
how to "sing" from their hearts.
Imagine your clarinet as a saporano singer.
And this is your aria.
