Jazz player anyway, but he remains active and plays in concerts from time
to time as a Jazz player.

That's interesting. I don't know about her performance of Debussy's music.
We often think German "should" not play French music well and one should
listen to a German orchestra playing "traditional German repertoire".
Ha ha...... are we dreaming about making good "western" music at all?
Harnoncourt said "when you listen to Beethoven, you find yourself in
his music......". I guess that's why we keep coming back to good music,
regardless of nationality. We find the composer, the performers, as
well as ourself in good music. Tony, I guess I should stop here. An
active physicist should not spend too much time on dead composers.
