The Norton Anthology on English Literature, vol. 2, 8th edition
μ 上課方式(投影片、團體討論、老師教學風格)
基本上都是老師搭配投影片講課
每幾個禮拜會有一小段時間找同學發表自己的看法
(個人或團體都有可能)
老師上課的風格好像不是大家都很吃得消
σ 評分方式(給分甜嗎？是紮實分？)
紮實偏甜(絕對是有努力就有分)
Course Requirement:
Regular attendance and vigorous participation in discussion. (20%)
Quiz on taped materials (which you are required to watch at your
own time.) (30%)
會請同學去視聽館三樓看指定影片寫一些題目
題目大致上都很簡單 但是有些要反覆看一些片段才找得出來
(因為沒有字幕而且通常影片的英國腔很濃)
Mid-term and Final exams. (50%)
1. No electronic communicative device (i.e. cell phone, beeper) is
operating in class.
2. If the offence occurs during the time of exam, you are required to
leave the room and your exam result will be annulled.

加簽習慣？嚴禁遲到等…)
其實班上人不多老師都知道誰沒有來誰遲到
如果缺席太多還會接到老師的來信
但是老師其實都很親切
有上課聽不懂的概念下課去問老師也都很樂意解答
這學期好像沒有外系加簽
如果有外系同學想加簽可能還是需要一些先備知識
因為課的loading其實不算輕
Ψ 總結
老師對這段時期的英國文學相當熟稔
授課時雖然有時候有一些概念講得不是讓人很懂
但是若是繼續請教老師 老師也會很有耐心地講述
雖然有許多小作業但是是學得到很多東西的一門好課
(老師還沒開學就寄信提醒我們有作業導致很多同學後來把課退掉了
但是其實老師不會太demanding 有很多比較難的概念也只是帶過
並加註 I won't test you on this 或 I won't bother you with this lol)
