      η 上課用書(影印講義或是指定教科書)
        Norton Anthology of English Literature 9th edition, Volume 2

      μ 上課方式(投影片、團體討論、老師教學風格)
        英文授課 ，沒有討論，傳統形式一人講課

        投影片通常是輔助用，比方說文本裡有什麼隱喻或提到什麼真實世界的文化，會
        給大家看繪畫或照片，如果有什麼重要的學界評論也會放在投影片裡補充

        通常會先針對時間、空間的背景做介紹，然後簡單帶過作者的生平。講文本的時
        候會用很生動的語言解釋，比較困難的字義、格律或句型也會講得頗清楚。但針
        對學術評論或作者、作品的文學史評價與定位，這部分的解說難度就頗高，講的
        也很快，有點難掌握。不過重要的概念老師會一再提醒。

      σ 評分方式(給分甜嗎？是紮實分？)
        紮實分，有念就有分，但不一定會很高分。

      ρ 考題型式、作業方式
        只有期中和期末考，期中出了大概二十題，有填充、問答、簡答和申論(上課有提
        過的全都有可能會考)；期末有四五題簡答，八題難度不低的申論，雖然老師都講
        過了...

        會視情況調分，像這次期末大概會大調分@@

      ω 其它(是否注重出席率？如果為外系選修，需先有什麼基礎較好嗎？老師個性？
              加簽習慣？嚴禁遲到等…)
        會傳簽到單。不來上課跟自殺沒兩樣，很多人都熬夜聽錄音打逐字稿@@外系選修
        的話只要能接受英文上課即可。

      Ψ 總結
        會學到非常多東西，但考試時有點崩潰。這次上課的主題是二十世紀初的現代主
        義和現代性，剛好是老師的專長，會額外補充大量的學術意見的批評。上次開的
        時候原本還有Joseph Conrad的Heart of Darkness，但依同學上次的評鑑意見拿
        掉，增加Joyce和Woolf的分量。原本要上的Philip Larkin因為老師提早一周考試
        所以沒上。文本範圍大概是從二十世紀初到二戰前，只有一首詩跨到戰後。原本
        老師還想上Samuel Beckett但時間不夠根本排不進去，所以課表大致如上。詩都
        上得很仔細，小說大致上跳著上但核心主題或重要的技巧風格等都會含括。

        不太涼，也滿硬的，但很充實，還是推薦大家可以修Duncan的文學史。
