3:01pm: The Yankees will pay an additional $200K if Wood stays healthy,

The Yankees are closing in on a deal for Kerry Wood, tweets ESPN's Buster
Olney.  Wood was just activated from the DL today after dealing with a
blister.  The 33-year-old righty has a 6.30 ERA, 8.1 K/9, and 5.0 BB/9 on the
season in 20 innings.  I imagine the Indians would pick up most of the
$3.71MM he's still owed.

If the Yankees finish the deal for Wood, as it looks like they will, he will
be a strong safety net for Joba Chamberlain as set-up.

#yankees have found relief market dismal. wood just came back from DL, and if
hes healthy, he has a chance to be great

牛來囉:P  若成交Wood可以做為Joba日後仍然無法頂SU的選項之一(當然Robertson也是)
