在今年球季可能是最關鍵的一個series缺席，然後之前又說出這種不能也
不應該給Boston球迷看到的東西。看看下一次他在Fenway Park出賽時球迷
會有什麼反應吧？他是目前MLB薪水第二高的球員，還有五年合約在身，正
常人應該知道你不能說你比較喜歡另外一個球隊，希望替他們打球。

Ramirez, despite having five more seasons on an eight-year, $160
million Red Sox deal that runs through 2008, told Morgan that
playing for the Yankees ``is one of my biggest dreams right now.
I know I've got a big contract here in Boston, but maybe when it's
over, I'll go out there and try it.''

Clouding the optimism was the weekend absence of Ramirez, whom the
team expected here yesterday but ultimately told to stay home
after he called before the game and said he was too ill to play.
WBZ-TV reported early last night that Ramirez was spotted Saturday
night in the bar of the Ritz-Carlton. Ramirez lives in a luxury
suite in a Ritz property downtown.

這個麻煩就更大了，他在Yankees-Red Sox series裡面因病缺席，結果在
酒吧被人看到？
