  MAJOR LEAGUE SERVICE TIME: 6 Years.

  CAREER: Joined the Major League staff in 1999...worked the Division Series in
2003-04...previously umpired in the Pioneer League (1992), Midwest League (1993
), Florida State League (1994), Eastern League (1995-96), International League
(1997) and Pacific Coast League (1998). PERSONAL: Mark Patrick Wegner...born on
March 4, 1972 in St. Paul, MN...married Michelle Mullins (2/24/96)...has three
children, Nathan (8/9/98), Joseph (9/5/00) and Tori (9/19/03)...graduated from
Cretin Derham High School in 1990...participates in church activities, Sharing
and Caring Hands, St. Anthony of Padua’s Friends and ProLife activities...as a
senior, was co-captain of his high school baseball team...taught himself how to
throw left-handed in high school after severely injuring his right arm in his
freshman year...began umpiring Little League games in college...proudest moment
of his Major League career was working home plate for the first time...enjoys
spending time with his family and working out in the off-season.
