could make it big in New York.

Hunsicker. If it's in-house candidate Damon Oppenheimer, well, he has shown
some good instincts (at least he wanted Curt Schilling over Vazquez).

Steinbrenner keeps taking subtle slaps at Torre, like yesterday when he
congratulated Angels manager Mike Scioscia. Rather than get his kicks in,
what Steinbrenner should do is tell Torre now he's safe. Although some
Yankees people hope Lou Piniella will stay sidelined in case the Yankees
start poorly next season, personally I wonder whether Piniella's volatility
will work in this ultra-veteran clubhouse.

9. 留下 Joe Torre

   Steinbrenner 不斷地對 Torre 頗有微詞，就像他昨天恭喜
   天使的 Scioscia 一樣。但 Steinbrenner 所該做的是告訴
   Torre 他會留下。雖然有些人希望Lou Piniella 在旁以免
