Randy Johnson took a step forward on Monday afternoon, but it
remains to be seen exactly how big a step it was.

amounts to just under one-third of the schedule. At 7-4, Johnson is
on pace to win 21 games. Imagine where he'd be if he had pitched
well all year.。
