NEW YORK -- Yankees right-hander Tanyon Sturtze may be done for the season.
The veteran pitcher underwent an MRI exam on Monday that revealed a slight
tear in the rotator cuff area of his right shoulder. Yankees team physician
Dr. Stuart Hershon, who examined Sturtze, also determined the pitcher has
bursitis.

Sturtze, who was placed on the 15-day disabled list over the weekend after
finally admitting to manager Joe Torre that there was soreness in the
shoulder, is scheduled to travel to Birmingham, Ala., to get a second opining
from orthopedic specialist Dr. James Andrews.

"Unfortunately, depending on what he decides to do, it's probably going to
cost him the rest of the year," Torre said of the 35-year-old pitcher who
owned a 7.59 ERA because he gave up 10 runs on 17 hits in just 10 2/3 innings.

"很不幸的, 他隱瞞自己傷勢的這件事, 代價就是他今年就此報銷," Torre說道.
這位今年35歲的投手, 在他 10 2/3局的投球中被打了17支安打丟了 10 分,留下
7.59 的自責分率.

"He couldn't take the ammunition out there," Torre said. "He was able to
throw 90-something to show us, but the big thing there was he was unable to
finish off pitches and have his command."

上的球讓我們看, 但是最大的問題是他沒辦法投到最後而且控制他們."

Torre, who was disappointed that Sturtze didn't inform the team of his
shoulder woes before Saturday, said that the first thing he stresses to his
pitchers in Spring Training is that hiding an injury can hurt both the
pitcher and the team.

Torre 對 Sturtze 在週六之前沒有告知球隊肩膀有傷這件事感到失望, 他在春訓
時一直對投手強調的第一件事就是, 隱瞞傷勢對球隊和投手本身都會造成傷害.

"Don't try to be a hero, you're going to shorten your career," said Torre,
recalling his message. "I'm sincere when I tell these guys that, because
there's no game that's more important than somebody's career."

"別逞強只為了當英雄, 那會縮短你的職業生涯," Torre 回憶他說過的話.
"當我告訴這些傢伙時,我是很鄭重的告訴他們, 因為沒有任何一場比賽會比
個人的職業生涯更重要"

 傷兵越來越多了, Matsui確定本季可能報銷, Sturtze 也掛了 (雖然沒差),
 Sheff 最快要五月底六月初才能回來, RJ到現在還沒歸位, 牛棚雖然問題
 比較小, 可是 Farnsworth 的控球一直讓我覺得時好時壞, Mo 感覺也還沒
 到最佳狀況. 然後打線也是一堆 Orz, Bernie就算了, 對他的期許, 我只
 祈禱他守 OF 時不要出狀況就好了. 大吉最近稍微有點冷掉, A. Rod雖然稍
 有起色, 可是還是不夠阿阿啊...好歹也是MVP等級的, 這種成績會被人家笑
 勒~ 你看人家 Pujols 卯起來 K 紅不讓...>"<

 啊啊啊阿啊!!!!!!!!雖然想太多, 可是總覺得很不安啊啊啊....囧rz
 接下來的賽程有一堆硬仗要打阿, 如果大家還不硬起來, 真的會一直抖抖
 抖....stO

 不過看起來Sturtze季中暫時不會被交易了 (要賣也沒人要..╮(﹀_﹀")╭)
 有點可惜...這樣我們算虧錢耶, 連減少損失的機會都沒有 XD
