LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - Andy Pettitte could be on his way back to the Yankees
, agent Randy Hendricks said this afternoon.
  Andy Pettitte可能會回到洋基來了,經紀人Randy Hendricks在中午時這麼說.

  "Andy hasn't decided for sure he wants to play next season, but we are
negotiating with the Yankees," Hendricks said. "So obviously that is a
possibility."
“Andy並沒有真正確定他想要再下一季打球,但是我們和洋基認真談過了,” Hendricks說
到.”而很明顯地,這一切都有可能.”

  Pettitte spent nine seasons with the Yankees before leaving for Houston as
a free agent before the 2004 season. He was 14-13 with a 4.20 ERA last season.
 The 34-year-old left-hander spoke about retiring after the season but appears
 to have changed his mind.
  Pettitte在2004年後自由球員後離開洋基前往休士頓前有9個球季是身為洋基人.他帶有
14勝13負並有著4.20的自責分率.這位34歲的左投手在球季後談到他要退休的事情,不過現

  Astros manager Phil Garner said he spoke with Pettitte last week and was
given the impression that he wanted to play again.
  太空人隊的總經理Phil Garner說到他上禮拜有和Pettitte會談同時得到他想要回來打球
的感覺.

  "(The) most recent conversation I had with him, he was more than leaning;
he's really considering coming back to play," Garner said.

  Hendricks said Pettitte definitely would decide whether he wants to play by
Dec. 22. But the Astros and Yankees are pushing for an earlier decision. No
other teams are involved.
  Hendricks說Pettite絕對會在12月22號前決定他想要在哪裡打球.但是太空人和洋基都
希望他早一點決定.沒有任何一隊不為此感到煩惱的.

  Pettitte, in many ways, would be a perfect fit for the Yankees in that he
would want a short-term deal and has proven he can play in New York. His
addition also would give the Yankees time to develop their young starters.
  在任何方面來說Pettite都是最適合洋基的一個選擇,因為它會想要一份比較短的合約同
時他也證明他能在紐約這個城市下打球,更進一步的來說,他的加入能讓洋基有時間來培養
他們年輕的先發投手.

  "I'm not going to comment on where things stand with the Yankees other than
to say we're talking with them," Hendricks said. "Once Andy decides whether
he wants to play, we'll know more."
“我不會對任何除了我們和洋基談過以外的事情做出任何評論,” Hendricks說到.”一但
Andy決定要在哪邊打球,我們都會知道的更多.”
