Roster rumblings: Needing another pitcher to bolster the bullpen for
Wednesday's game, the Yankees recalled right-hander Darrell Rasner and
designated third-string catcher Koyie Hill for assignment.
陣容變動: 為了補充星期三比賽時有可能需要的牛棚, 洋基把在3A的右投Darrell
Rasner叫上來, 而把三號捕手Koyie Hill DFA以清出空間給Rasner.
Rasner, 25, was 4-0 with a 2.56 ERA as a starter for Triple-A Columbus.
He was claimed off waivers by the Yankees from the Nationals on Feb. 11.
Rasner, 25歲, 本季在3A Columbus隊中擔任先發投手, 戰績4勝0敗 ERA2.56.
他是在今年二月11日被洋基隊由國民隊的釋出名單上要過來的.
Rasner started for Columbus on Saturday, but Torre said he could get two
or three innings out of him if necessary.
Rasner上週六才在Columbus先發過, 但總教練Torre說必要時Rasner應該可以投個
二到三局.
"Whatever role it is, I'm very grateful for this opportunity that I've
been given," Rasner said.
"不論擔任什麼角色, 我都非常感謝洋基給我的這次機會." Rasner說.
