Jaret, what does it mean for you to be able to pitch in the
postseason this year well/while, last year you came one game
away from pitching and Yankees got eliminated so you didn't
get the pitch.

去年你差一場就投季後賽但是洋基遭淘汰。今年終於有機會上場，
意義如何。

Yeah last year was tough for me cuz I was, Game 5, on an airplane.
You know what, they were playing the game, plane to Chicago.
So I'd actually asked a stewardess if we won or lost. She said
we lost. So I was at the hotel in Chiacago with you know, none
of those boys. That was tough so to get another chance this
year after the way last year ended and went for me, it's exciting
for me.

去年真的很難過，第五場時我在前往芝加哥的飛機上，飛機上有播放比賽。
我問了空服人員輸或贏，他說我們輸了。所以我獨自一個在芝加哥。今年
總算能夠上場比賽，很興奮。

You've been skipped before in this rotation and you've been
designated to the bullpen. When did you start mentally preparing
for the start?

你曾經被跳過輪值，也被送到牛棚。你何時如何開始調適心情。

I think really, they say it all year, basically, every start for
me, I look at it, whether it's regular season or postseason, it
means the same amount to me. I give it everything I got whether
it's October or May.

每次先發對我而言都是相同的，無論是季賽或季後。我都全力以赴。

Jaret you've had some outstanding start outings in the playoffs
and some that didn't go your way. Have you thought about the
difference between those type of outings. How much it depends on
what you have that night, how much it depends on how good the
team you are going against.

你在季後賽有幾次不錯的先發紀錄，但是有些不理想。你覺得其中差異在哪
。是因為自己的狀況或是對手。

I think they are probably both big factors. I mean in any game,
in regular season or postseason it comes down to execution. And
you know how many mistakes you get away with, stuff like that.
But you try to limit that. You try to make your pitches when you
are supposed to. You try to keep the ball down. I'm not trying to
do that.

可能兩者都是主要原因。無論是十月或是四五月的比賽，關鍵就是執行。
以及犯錯。犯錯後就會想辦法投出致勝球度過，或壓低球路。我會設法
不犯錯。

Talk a little bit about the pressure of pitching in New York and
how d'you think that is when one game you are great and next
game you are bombed and killed. Talk about that.

談談在紐約比賽的壓力，以及上一場表現很好，下一場卻被爆？

It's how you feel on the inside. It's expressed by the fans. If
you pitch bad you know you feel bad inside. As far as the fans,
I've never been to a place where fifty-thousand plus are so intense
, when they watch the game. As far as, check swing, umpires are
watching everything. It's different, but, I love playing that.
I always want to win, I think it's a good place trying to win,
and hopefully we can do that.

心理因素很重要。球迷會有反應，我之前從未感受過五萬多人是如此熱情
，還有虎視眈眈的裁判。是不同的；但是我想贏，而且這是個贏球的好地方
。希望我們能辦到。

Jaret, coming off the September you had, in effect, pitched deeper
into games more frequently than not. Can you carry the momentum
into tomorrow?

九月後你比較能吃長局數了。明天你能持續如此嗎。

You try to. Start for me is, you try to be pitching well, going
into October. If you are not pitching so good, it's just start
by start. It's a mental thing to get back out there if it's not
going well to build on what you did if it's going well. I try to
do that.
