Matsui injured in win over O's
Outfielder strains left hamstring; will be re-evaluated Sunday


NEW YORK -- Yankees outfielder Hideki Matsui left Saturday's game against the
Baltimore Orioles with a strained left hamstring.
紐約洋基的外野手松井秀喜，在星期六跟金鶯的比賽中扭傷了左腿

Matsui started in left field for New York and injured the hamstring during his
lone at-bat of the contest, grounding out to catcher Alberto Castillo in the
second inning.
(ps.這一段不是很會翻...受傷好像是跟在打擊時候、金鶯的捕手有關?!)

The Yankees said that Matsui will be re-evaluated on Sunday, though he said
that the injury does not appear to be severe.
洋基表示星期天會再評估松井的傷勢，雖然松井認為受傷似乎並無大礙

"The pain is not too serious," Matsui said. "It should be fine by then."
松井說：「傷痛並沒有太嚴重，過不了多久應該會很快復原」

Even so, Yankees manager Joe Torre said that in a best-case scenario, the team
might be without Matsui's services for three to five days.
即便如此，總教練Joe Torre認為洋基未來三天至五天的比賽，松井還是應該休息

With only one reserve outfielder -- Melky Cabrera -- on the 25-man roster,
utilityman Miguel Cairo could garner playing time in Matsui's absence.

Cairo replaced Matsui as a pinch-hitter in the fourth inning and took over in
left field, going 0-for-2 before Johnny Damon -- who has been tending an injury
of his own, a strained right calf, entered the game as a pinch-hitter.
Cairo昨天比賽在第四局接替松井的左外野位置，兩個打數並沒有敲出安打；而之後
Damon又出場頂替Cairo的打序...(後面這裡不大會翻)

"I will be ready for it," Cairo said. "I've been working out hard. I had a good
 day today."
Cairo說：「我已經準備好了，我會努力作好這份工作」

Matsui played in just 51 games for New York last season after suffering a
broken left wrist in a May 11 contest against the Boston Red Sox, costing him
four months and snapping a consecutive games played streak of 518 games to open
his Major League career.
松井在去年球季，傷後復出之後只為洋基出賽了51場賽事。去年5/11出戰紅襪，比賽期間
傷了左腕，之後花了他四個月的期間養傷；而那次受傷也中斷了他在洋基連續出賽518場比
賽的紀錄

Matsui batted .302 with eight home runs and 29 RBIs in 2006. In four games this
season, he is 3-for-12 (.250) with three runs batted in.
松井在2006的成績表現，繳出了三成零二的打擊率、8支全壘打、29分打點。而在今年球季
開賽至今的四場比賽，12個打數敲出3支安打，二成五零的打擊率
