Alex Rodriguez hit a game-winning, three-run homer off closer JoeBorowski in
the ninth inning Thursday as the New York Yankees rallied for an 8-6 victory
over the Cleveland Indians.

禮拜4，A-Rod第9局從笑臉人，JoeBorowski手中打尻了一支再見3分砲，讓洋基以8-6獲勝


The Yankees had already scored three runs in the ninth - with two out - to
narrow the gap to 5-6 when Rodriguez drilled a 1-0 pitch from Borowski to
center field for his major league-leading 10th home run of the season.

洋基在第9局已經得到了3分...目前的情況是兩出局，比數是非常接近的5-6落後一分
一個壞球之後，A-Rod逮到一顆Borowski所投出的球，把球送往中外野，並且讓她
在本季的大聯盟的全壘打隻數裡，以10隻領先群雄

"It's exciting, especially at the stadium," Rodriguez said. "The fans were
(waiting) for a big win. They were into it and it's exciting."

A-Rod說:歐~~我好爽，好興奮，好刺激，特別是在這個球場，球迷們等待著的是一個
大贏，他們得到了，一切都是那嚜的刺激

It was the second game-winning blast for the two-time American League MVP,
including a grand slam against Baltimore closer Chris Ray in a 10-7 triumph
here on April 7.

這位兩屆美聯MVP已經用這種方式贏得比賽兩次了，另一次是4月7號，從金鳥終結者
Chris Ray手中尻出再見滿貫，讓洋基以10-7獲勝

"He's swinging the bat really well," Yankees manager Joe Torre said. "This
was great."

洋基總教頭老托說:他揮棒子揮的真的是商當好啊~~這真是太棒了

"He's been a huge asset for us," New York general manager Brian Cashman
added. "He continues to push us into the win column."

洋基GM現金人說"他是我們的一大資產阿" 他還補充說"他繼續把我們帶入贏球的行列"

Last year, Rodriguez did not hit his 10th home run until May 22 in Boston. On
Thursday, he became the first player in American League history to hit 10
home runs in the first 14 games of the season.

去年，A-Rod直到5月22才在波斯頓打出他的第10號全壘打，但是禮拜4，他成為美聯
史上第一位在一季的前14場比賽中就幹了10砲的選手

"I don't ... I've never had a player with this ability," Torre said. "He's
certainly capable of hitting it out of any ballpark. I've had some pretty
good players that have but Alex is certainly ability-wise ... I don't think
anybody matches him."

老托說:我不....歐~~我從來都不曾擁有像有這種能力的球員，他無疑的有絕對的能力
在任何的球場都把球都尻出牆外，我這邊擁有一些相當出色的球員，但是~~嘿嘿~~A-Rod

With his latest heroics, Rodriguez made up for a throwing error that allowed
the Indians to grab a 6-2 lead in the top of the ninth. He also atoned for
going hitless in his first four at-bats, which included a pair of strikeouts.

他今天最後的英雄表現，彌補了在9局上因為傳球失誤而造成笑臉人以6-2領先，以及他今
天在前4次打擊都無功而返，這當中還包含了兩張K

Even if Rodriguez' game winning blast had stayed in the park, the Yankees
would have won because Cleveland center fielder Grady Sizemore was playing
shallow for a possible play at the plate.

縱使A-Rod今天那最後一球是在場內，洋基還是能贏，因為小臉人的中外野手Sizemore
守的相當淺，想要能盡快把跑者觸殺在本壘前面

"I just wanted to hit the ball hard," Rodriguez said. "I knew that Sizemore
was playing me pretty shallow. So the minute I hit it I knew the game was
over."

A-Rod說:我只想用力槌他而已，我知道對方面對我的時後中外野手守的很淺，所以
當我擊出的那一霎那，我就知道比賽掰掰了

The blast raised Rodriguez' major league-leading RBI total to 26.

這一發，把A-Rod在大聯盟所領先的打點拉到了26分

"He seems comfortable, he seems balanced," Yankees captain Derek Jeter said.
"He was swinging the bat well the last week of spring training and it has
carried over to the regular season."

隊長說:"他看起來很舒服，平衡性，協調性都相當好，他的揮棒自從之前的春訓
到現在正式的比賽中都相當的好"
