Bobby Abreu的守備,因小王的關係被提出來, 其實阿布好不好呢?

Goggle了一下看看去年費城人及新聞如何說的

A fan favorite early in his career, Abreu was sometimes vilified in
Philadelphia in recent years. Though he won his first Gold Glove last season,
Abreu's defense was heavily criticized, especially because it often appeared
he shied away from contact with the wall.

Some critics say he takes too many pitches, particularly in clutch situations
with runners on base. And, Abreu's preference to bat third when he might have
been a perfect fit as a leadoff hitter in Philadelphia's lineup made him
appear selfish.

他算是小心怕撞牆型, 所以有些賣力點追得到的球便放掉了,但也讓他很少因此受傷。

想想大松井那球值不值得? 只是球迷喜歡的是Jeter, 一朗這種Gamer。

2005的確拿了金手套,  但Philliesflow到是挺有意見, 同時他的守備能力也在下降中

And then there's defense.  Abreu ridiculously won a Gold Glove in 2005 (some
NL corner outfielders with more putouts in fewer innings than Abreu:  Geoff
Jenkins, Jeromy Burnitz, Brian Giles, Jose Guillen, Luis Gonzalez and Cliff
Floyd) but for many years he was good enough out there -- he tailed off a bit
defensively last year and will likely continue to do so over the next few
seasons.

雖然很多人用防守數字嘲笑是個很糟的右外野手, 他2005年拿金手套是件很好笑的事。

No longer a Phillie, David Dellucci and Jeff Conine played a little right
field before Shane Victorino settled into the job, which he will hold in
2007. Abreu has long been derided by bloggers and sabremetricians for being a
poor defensive right fielder – his 2005 Gold Glove has been widely ridiculed
– and these numbers don’t exactly support the charge. Average, not
below-average, might be the more accurate conclusion of Bobby Abreu’s
fielding skills.


Now let’s scope out Bobby Abreu’s decline as a fielder as well:

BIZ = Balls in Zone
OOZ = Outside Of Zone

It is ironic that baseball chose to give a gold glove to a poor defensive
outfielder during a season where he was doing worse than he usually does. In
terms of Zone Rating, Abreu is middle-of-the-pack at best.

但充其量只是中間值而已 2005他不值得拿金手套, 而且防守能力在下降。

推 Nasty:就說了 BOBBY RANGE 真的很小 我個人覺得比老薛小
→ Nasty:他那年拿金手套的確是因為很保守才拿的
→ Nasty:保守失誤少 但這也是數據上反應不出來的防守能力和範圍
→ Nasty:很多球打的又深又遠沒錯 可是看他接離手套和落點的距離
推 Tzylu:推 有的時候失誤少不代表防守好 失誤多也不一定代表守備差
